Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

TNR, which stands for Trap-Neuter-Return, is a humane and effective method for managing stray and feral cat populations. This approach involves trapping the cats, spaying or neutering them to prevent further breeding, and then returning them to their original location. TNR not only helps to control the population of stray and feral cats but also improves their quality of life by reducing mating behaviors and the spread of certain diseases. Advocates of TNR also emphasize the importance of providing food, water, and suitable shelter to support the well-being of these community cats. Overall, TNR programs have been successful in addressing the issue of stray and feral cats in a compassionate and sustainable manner. At Amazing Small Animal Practice, we have our own program where we set traps multiple times a week and try to reduce the feral cat population by fixing them and returning them. We offer our traps for rent with a deposit for you to TNR your community cats. If you are interested in our program, please text 310-908-0510.
